It was a fabulous night hosted by the ever dapper Clyde Carroll, Marketing & Communications Director, DublinTown & the beautiful Cassie Stokes, Xpose Presenter.
The event, sponsored by some amazing brands including Evoke.ie, Dyson Hair & Bloom Gin, showcased the best that Dublin fashion has to offer for the new season - so for us fashion obsessed Bloggers the night was just a dream come true!
The fashion show of the year was held in the stunning Round Room at The Mansion House, Dublin & was attended by some of Ireland's biggest names in the fashion industry, such as, Karen Koster, Lorraine Keane, Cybil Mulcahy, Marissa Carter & the amazing James Patrice! It was simply fabulous to be seated at the opening night of DublinTown Fashion Festival with so many of the industry favourites! We were treated to a display of Dublin's finest high street fashions on the catwalk - so my shopping list for the A/W wardrobe has just got a lot longer! 😁
One of my favourite pieces of the night included a beautiful red velvet dress from Retro Shop Dublin - I am already on a waiting list to buy this - I am in love! Retro Shop Dublin have kindly sent me this picture of the dress in a plum colour - how stunning!
There was also this beautiful lime green tweed effect jacket from Penneys - their new season collection is just so good!

My love for the Cher from Clueless vibe is ever growing this season & as soon as I spotted the next look from The Donegal Shop on the catwalk I was sold. How beautiful is the check kilt & Aran Crafts Roll-Neck jumper?! Oh & I am now sort of loving the baker boy trend again! 😉
The Donegal Shop
Sticking with the Clueless vibes I loved this check pinafore from Cath Kidston - its just so feminine & girly. It could def. be dressed up with heels or dressed down with some over the knee boots - Oh I am just trying to convince myself how many ways I could style this beauty!! 😀 Such Chanel vibes too!

Now, one of all time favourites on the night was this showstopping skirt from OM Diva - the colours just epitomise the perfect Autumnal look! The image of the skirt is from the Look-book we were given on the night as my camera shot was a little blury 😒

There were so many other looks showcased on the night & if you want to see more you can check out Dublin Fashion Festival on Instagram (@Dublinfashion_) or Xpose's live Facebook video. I have also saved some highlights from the night on my Instagram @thestyleflamingos if you want to take a look!

On the night, Bloom Gin hosted a beautiful pop up gin bar - so of course we sampled their limited edition Jasmine & Rose gin - it was amazing! Our drink of choice was #PinkDifferently - just loved it! I need to get a little bottle for myself!
One of the most amazing things about DublinTown Fashion Festival is that they recognise the best of Ireland's young fashion Designers in the ultimate 'Young Designer of the Year Award'. DublinTown acknowledge the best of young creative talent & award them with a very special accolade, assisting them to kick start their design career.
We were very proud to meet the 2017 Dublin Fashion Festival Young Designer of the Year, Naomi Aje & of course we got a little snap happy! 😀

It was also fantastic to witness the next creative Irish talent, Michelle McAuley, winner of the 2018 Dublin Fashion Festival Young Designer of the Year! This is Michelle's winning dress design below.
Best of luck to Michelle for the exciting year ahead & for her future career as a Designer!
What an evening of wonderful fashion - I literally want so many of the pieces showcased on the night!!
To top the night off, Laura & I won best Instagram post of the night!
This was the #OOTN picture - we were so excited to win & we are so grateful to DublinTown Fashion Festival for inviting us to attend on the night! #DublinTown #DublinFashion
